Mr. Tiesi is a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Argentic Investment Management LLC (“Argentic”). Under his leadership, Argentic has expanded to a fully integrated multi-faceted commercial real estate lender and debt investor. 

Prior to joining Argentic, Mr. Tiesi worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland (“RBS”), where he re-established the bank’s U.S. commercial real estate business in 2009, which included engineering the first multi-borrower CMBS transaction in the industry coming out of the global financial crisis.  Previously, Mr. Tiesi ran the RBS real estate finance business in Europe, which had over $20 billion of real estate debt and equity positions under management.  Prior to RBS, Mr. Tiesi established the SREC business for ABN AMRO bank.  Prior to ABN AMRO, Mr. Tiesi headed the European real estate finance business for Credit Suisse.  He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP focusing on structured products as a member of the CMO team.  Mr. Tiesi earned a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University in 1993.  In 2013, Mr. Tiesi was recognized as number twenty-one on the Commercial Observer’s 50 Most Important People in Commercial Real Estate list.

Prior to joining Argentic, Mr. Schulte was a Director at Jefferies LoanCore LLC (now known as LoanCore Capital Markets LLC, “LoanCore”).  At LoanCore, he originated loans in fixed rate and floating rate debt and worked extensively on securitization and distribution with securitization partners in multiple CMBS transactions.  On behalf of a LoanCore led private equity fund, Mr. Schulte also acquired whole loans, B-notes and mezzanine loans.  Prior to LoanCore, Mr. Schulte was a Vice President and member of RBS Greenwich Capital’s securitization team.  He oversaw the day-to-day distribution of subordinate commercial real estate debt, worked extensively on the securitization and syndication of fixed rate loans through the “GG” program between RBS and Goldman Sachs and coordinated the rating and structuring of RBS led commercial real estate CDOs.  Mr. Schulte earned a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Columbia University.

Mr. Burke is the Head of Floating Rate Lending of Argentic.

Prior to joining Argentic, Mr. Burke spent 15 years at RBS (including its predecessor Greenwich Capital) in a variety of roles.  Most recently, Mr. Burke had dual roles of Head of Originations, and Head of the U.S. Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management and Restructuring for the Noncore Division.  In the originations role, Mr. Burke built out and led the originations team following the re-establishment of the bank’s CMBS lending program.  In the restructuring role, Mr. Burke led the team responsible for the disposition a portfolio of legacy commercial positions in the United States.  Prior to joining Greenwich Capital, Mr. Burke was an originator in Nomura Capital’s CMBS lending group.  Prior to Nomura, Mr. Burke worked as an attorney in Kaye Scholer’s real estate group.  Mr. Burke earned an A.B. from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Science and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Prior to joining Argentic, Mr. Rossman was a Managing Director and Head of Finance at Silverpeak, an investment management firm with a focus in real estate, energy and corporate credit, where he served on several management committees. Previously, Mr. Rossman served as a Vice President at Lehman Brothers’ Real Estate Private Equity Group, where he was responsible for the fund management of several global real estate equity and debt private funds, and before that he worked at Soros Real Estate Partners in a similar capacity.  Prior to Soros Real Estate Partners, Mr. Rossman was as a member of the fund management group at Pequot Capital Management, including its spin-off of Andor Capital Management.  Mr. Rossman earned a B.S. from Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University and Masters in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. Prior to joining Argentic, Mr. Sweeney was Head of Underwriting for the CMBS lending program at RBS, where he was responsible for developing comprehensive underwriting standards, credit review processes in connection with the reopening of the CMBS market, and ultimately managed a group of 25 professionals.  Previous positions include Director of Acquisitions at Alliance Private Capital, a boutique real estate investment company, where he structured and closed asset acquisitions and debt financings.  Prior to that, Mr. Sweeney was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for underwriting and closing loan transactions.  Mr. Sweeney was a Vice President at Lend Lease REI where he was responsible for negotiating transactions on behalf of commingled opportunity funds and separate pension fund accounts.  Mr. Sweeney was an acquisitions officer with CPP REIT, and participated in taking the company public on the NYSE and acquisition transactions.  Mr. Sweeney earned a B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. in Real Estate Finance from Old Dominion University and received the CCIM designation from CIREI.
